Vietnamese goods consumption campaign has official logo

The Ministry of Industry and Trade yesterday announced the official logo of ‘Vietnamese give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ campaign in Hanoi after eight years of its implementation.

Mr. Tran Duy Dong, head of domestic market department under the ministry, said that the ministry in coordination with Vietnam Fine Arts Association had organized a logo contest for the campaign since December 2016.
The organization board has chosen seven works and publicly announced them to get public opinions with the most voted logo made by Mr. Nguyen Van Than from Hanoi.
Stating at the ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Ngoc Anh, deputy chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that the logo plays a significant role to identify Vietnamese goods, contributes in boosting production and consumption of domestic products and fortifying Vietnamese goods and businesses’ foothold in the market.
Artist Luong Xuan Doan, member of the organization board, said that in the goods box in the middle of the logo means that each product of businesses is a present for consumers, national flag image and slogan ‘Vietnamese give priority to using Vietnamese goods’ stand for the pride of Vietnamese goods and encourage Vietnamese people to consume Vietnamese goods.
