More than 1,200 contracts, memorandum of understanding, and commercial transactions worth VND1,526 billion were signed and implemented at the Vietnam International Techmart 2012 that took place at the Hanoi International Center for Exhibition from September20-23.
Techmart 2012 featured 520 display booths of 449 local companies and 30 foreign enterprises introducing advanced technologies and equipment on mechanical engineering, electricity, electronics, automation, chemicals, materials, pharmaceuticals and environmental treatment solutions.
The event was a chance for domestic and international businesses to exchange information and experiences on advanced technology and production of hi-tech products.
Techmart was co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, ASEAN Committee on Science and Technology, and the Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committees, attracting more than 2,000 visitors.
