They mainly export urea, SA, kali, DAP, NPK and some others. NPK accounting for 40 percent of export volume and value. Major markets are Asian nations including the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and South Korea.
Meantime, SA and kali are two largest import items because Vietnam has no kali mine so it has been unable to produce SA fertilizer and completely depended on import.
China is the largest fertilizer supplier accounting for nearly 50 percent of Vietnam’s total import volume.
