The service is available for domestic flights of Vietnam Airlines departing from Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City and will be expanded to other airports in the future.

In order to check-in, passengers can dial the hotline 1900 6265 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day. The hotline is not toll-free as callers will be charged VND5,000 (US$0.21) per minute. Passengers can use phone check-in service from 12 to two hours prior to the departure time  with support from the operator.

In related news, more than 1.4 billion HVN shares of Vietnam Airlines will be officially listed on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HOSE) from May 7 this year with reference price at VND40,600 per share and range of ±20 percent.

Earlier, all shares of HVN have been delisted on the UPCoM on April 23. In the last trading session on the UPCoM, the market recorded the price of HVN at VND40,300 per share, nearly 1.5 times higher than its reference price of VND28,000 per share in its first public offering on January 3, 2017.

Along with an increase in volume of listed shares, steady growth in value of HVN has helped to raise market capitalization of Vietnam Airlines to above VND57 trillion, equivalent to US$2.5 billion.

Official trading of HVN on the HOSE will increase transparency and standardization of corporate administrative activities as well as open opportunities for the carrier to meet more investors, helping to improve liquidity and maximize investment value for shareholders.
