Trade surplus approximates US$1.7 billion in eight months

State own business sector saw a trade deficit of US$10.1 billion and foreign invested sector brought about $11.8 billion in trade surplus.

The country’s trade surplus reached $100 million in August alone. Total export import turnover was estimated at $192.3 billion in eight months. Of these, exports yielded $97 billion and imports touched $95.3 billion.
