Currently, salt fields in Ba Ria- Vung Tau province enter into the harvest season.
Accordingly, the output of salt increases because downpours has slowed down the harvest crop later than a month.
According to Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Ba Ria- Vung Tau province, salt fields in the province cover around 827 hectares, including 30 hectares of slat canvas and rest ones of traditional products.
By the mid- February, total output of raw salt was around 700 tons, and 650 tons of fresh salt.
