The Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) on Monday announced a reduction of VND2,050 a petrol liter.
The price of Ron 92 gasoline dropped VND2,050 a liter to VND17,880, and diesel edged down VND1,420 to VND16,990.
Kerosene and engine oil prices were curtailed VND1,570 and VND1,690 to VND17,400 a liter and VND13,130 a kilogram respectively.
Besides the price cut, the company has increased the contribution to the price subsidization fund from VND500 to VND800 a liter as per instruction by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.
