Petrol price increases slightly

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance required domestic businesses to increase petrol prices by VND303 a liter from 3 p.m. yesterday.

A liter of Ron 92 gasoline is now priced VND17,366 a liter while ethanol gasoline blend E5 price hikes by VND283 to VND17,154.
Kerosene price moves up by VND326 to VND12,118 a liter, diesel up VND225 to VND13,485 a liter and mazut oil increases VND139 to VND11,035 a kilogram.
The contribution level to the petrol price subsidization fund remains unchanged at zero dong a liter.
Petrol price has seen three increases on February 18, April 20 and June 5 and four cuts.
According to the two ministries, the world’s petrol product price averaged US$62,729 a barrel of Ron 92 for the last 15 days, up nearly $2 compared to the previous period.
