The People’s Committee of the central province of Nghe An province yesterday had a meeting with new investors.
In 2015, the province granted eleven investment licenses to domestic and foreign investment projects and official development assistance (ODA) projects with total capital of over VND 87, 000 billion, and over VND 15, 000 billion respectively.
Moreover, the province attracted the large number of key’s projects in the fields of health, education and agriculture that contributed to develop the province’s economic and social strategies such as VSIP Nghe An Integrated Township and Industrial Park, Quynh Lap Thermal Power Plant, Food Manufacturers in Park Royal and others.
As planned, Nghe An province is expected to continue to attract additional 120 projects with its total investment capital of VND 50, 000- 80, 000 billion, including VND 8, 000- 10, 000 billion for FDI projects.
Chairman of National Assembly of Vietnam Nguyen Sinh Hung, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang, Head of the Central Economic Committee Vuong Dinh Hue, leaders of ministers, departments and 1, 000 leaders from economic groups, domestic and foreign corporations attended the meeting.
