Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh has instructed a mission establishment to verify negative information on some newspapers that businesses must spend at least US$20,000 each time applying for rice export license, announced the ministry last night.
Deputy minister Tran Quoc Khanh has been tasked to directly work with relevant organizations and individuals to make clear the news.
Formerly on the same day some online newspapers published a statement by director general of ADC Company Ngo Van Nam at a seminar on amending Decree 109/2010 on rice trading and export, saying each time businesses applied for rice export license, they must spend at least US$20,000.
