At the meeting, the department said since August 2016 to date it has launched 3 safe farm produce fairs at Dong Ho restaurant on Cao Thang street, Le Thi Rieng Park in district 10 and Le Van Tam Park in district 1.
Total 55 organizations have participated in the fairs. In 2018, it is expected to open more five safe farm produce fairs in districts 2, 7, Tan Binh, Binh Tan and Binh Phu.
The department said all farm produces which were showcased at the fair, are certificated VietGAP, GlobalGAP and under the city’s safe product chain.
