VND 2,746 billion invested for Thai Nguyen- Cho Moi National Highway

The Ministry of Transport officially started a groundbreaking ceremony of Thai Nguyen- Cho Moi the National Highway project and upgrading highway No3 at the 75th -100th kilometer section on September 7, in Thanh Binh Industrial Park, Bac Kan province.

The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The Thai Nguyen- Cho Moi Highway project will connect between Son Cam commune in Phu Luong district of Thai Nguyen province with Thanh Binh commune in Cho Moi district of Bac Kan province with total length of 40, 3 kilometers, which meets the high-speed line's standard.

The project is built according to the BOT (Build- Operate- Transfer) form with total investment capital of 2,746 VND billion and is scheduled for completion in 2016.
 
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung emphasized that the project will play an important role to promote socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan province and nothern region.

PM required Ministry of Transport and localities have to cooperate with investors, aiming to ensure the project’s progress and take it for safe and effective operation.
