Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) said from December 22, 2015 it was implementing to recall 3,810 units of Vios produced in Vietnam from September 13, 2007 to December 31, 2008 for checking and replacing the inflator module of the front passenger airbag.
Earlier, TMV announced to recall these vehicles in accordance with a global recall campaign of vehicles due to faulty airbags, however, total effected vehicles are much higher than expected therefore TMV had to move its campaign to December, 22.
