The investment registration certificate about Development & Research Center was given Samsung Electronics Vietnam by Chairman of Ha Noi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung, yesterday.
The project has a total investment capital of US$ 300million (equal to VND 6,7trillion) & is located in the South Urban Area at Dai Kim, Hoang Mai District in Ha Noi.
Under the High Technology Law's regulation, this project will be exempted from land rent for 50 years
Earlier, the Prime Minister approved this project with the aim to study & develop electronics' products & digital telecommunication.
Mr. Han My-oung-sup, General director of Samsung Compex Vietnam said this project is part of its long term investment plan in Vietnam, adding that Samsung pledged to complete the project as schedule.
