The central province of Nghe An People's Committee has targeted to attract more than 100 investment projects in 2017 bringing total investment capital up to VND 30 to 35 trillion and creating 13,000 to 15,000 new jobs for local laborers.
In 2016, Nghe An issued 141 newly investment projects with total established & added capital up to VND 35,4 trillion. However, last year the province revoked 22 projects which were implemented on schedule.
Since 2009 to date, the province has attracted 804 investment projects with total registered capital of VND 261 trillion.
