HCMC cooperates with Shiga province

HCMC People’s Committee and Shiga’s authority of Japan signed a economic and industrial cooperative agreement on November 13.

HCMC People’s Committee and Shiga’s authority of Japan signed a economic and industrial cooperative agreement on November 13.

At the signing ceremony, chairman of HCMC People’s Committee Le Hoang Quan highly appreciated the visit of Japanese delegates; and affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City and Shiga province have many opportunities to strengthen the cooperation.

Under agreement, Governor of Shiga province Taizo Mikazuki hoped that the cooperation relations between both locals will continue to further develop.

Shiga is one of Japan’s largest economic regions like Kansai and Tokai, and known as Japan’s leading industrial province.

On the same day, Chairman Le Hoang Quan welcomed President of Vinci Construction Group Mr. Jean Rossi.

Speaking at the meeting, Jean Rossi said that Vinci will invite tenders for its projects in HCMC in the sector of building road and traffic infrastructure, urban drainage system in the upcoming day.

Chairman Le Hoang Quan expressed that Ho Chi Minh City authority will create the best conditions for Vinci’s investment.
