This is the first time Hung Yen province launches this event to promote and introduce the province's longan production in Hanoi. It is also chance to seek the partners and develop trade exchange.
Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, deputy chairman of the northern province of Hung Yen said Hung Yen Longan is listed top 13 out of 50 Vietnamese fruits. The province current has over 4,000 ha for growing longan locating at four districts: Hung Yen City, Khoai Chau district; Kim Dong and Tien Lu.
The yearly productivity reaches almost 40,000 tons.
