The Bao Viet Securities Company (BVSC) will float 15 million shares, coded BVS, at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Centre on December 18, announced the company's Director Nguyen Quang Vinh yesterday.
Listing shares at the Ha Noi Securities Trading Center (HASTC) will help his company increase its liquidity and access an effective channel of mobilizing capital for its long-term development strategy, said Mr. Vinh.
The BVS share was valued at between 140,000-150,000 VND before being listed at the HASTC.
With a chartered capital of VND150 billion, the BVSC is currently one of the leading companies in Viet Nam in providing brokerage services, issuance guarantee and consultancy, financial advices and enterprise restructuring consultancy.
The company reported revenues of over VND72 billion in the first 11 months of 2006, an increase of 180% compared with entire last year, earning VND36 billion pre-tax profit.
