Asahi Eito - a Japanese group which specializes in producing sanitation equipments and bathroom ceramic, and accessories inaugurated its first factory in Hiep Phuoc Industrial Zone in HCMC yesterday.
At the inaugural ceremony, Vina Asahi under Asahi Eito officialy signed the agreement to Song Tran Co.Ltd being its exclusive distributor in Vietnam.
Mr. KoJi Machimoto, President of Asahi Eito Group said its factory is expected to produce and introduce about 500 to 600 sets of lavabo each month to Vietnam market and set target to double its productivity within next 2 years.
Mr. Phan Ngoc Luong, Director of Song Tran Company pledged to distribute about 20,000 different items of Asahi Eito group’s sanitation equipment to Vietnamese consumers.
The factory will create jobs for about 300 local labors.
Chairman of the HCMC's Real Estate Association Le Hoang Chau and representatives from Japanese Bank, Asahi Eito's partners and Vietnamese enterprises attended the grand opening ceremony.
