The Ho Chi Minh City Handicraft and Wood Industry Association (HAWA) is establishing the Hawa Design Center.
The center will be a gathering place for local and foreign designers, offering market information, organizing design contests, displaying to the world’s importers.
The turnover of the export wood processing industry is estimated at US$5.5 billion in 2013 and the revenue of products designed by Vietnamese enterprises reached US$10 million.
