Vietsovpetro, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation and Bitexco Group are investors of the project of Ca Tam oil drilling.

The project was set up in 2012; by January, 2019, the first oil barrels have produced over 1,200 tons of oil (equivalent to 9,000 barrels per day).

> As plan, there are additional six oil-wells to be drilled and put into exploitation this year, and it is expected to gain 766,000 tons of oil (equivalent to 5,5 million barrels) contributing significantly to the national budget revenue.

It is noted that this is the first time a private enterprise as Bitexco Group involving in oil and gas exploitation.
