Binh Duong draws $1.1 billion FDI capital in first half of 2016, up 8.33 percent

The southern province of Binh Duong licensed 113 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with the total capital of US$730.55 million in the first six months of 2016, reported the provincial Department of Planning and Investment.

Investors of 64 projects registered to increase investment capital by $366.95 million, up 8.33 percent over the same period last year.

Binh Duong was ranked third in FDI capital after Hai Phong city and Hanoi in the northern region in the first half of 2016.

Notably, the province has attracted large projects suiting its investment orientation and industrial development plan.
