The State Bank of Vietnam set the reference VND/USD exchange rate at VND22,224 per USD on February 10, up VND8 from the day ago.
With the current /- 3 percent VND/USD trading band, the ceiling exchange rate is VND 22,888 per USD and the floor rate is VND21,559 per USD.
In the opening hours, commercial banks made a reduction in their rates.
Vietcombank offered the buying rate at VND22,605 and the selling rate at VND22,675, for one US dollar, down VND25 from the end of the day before.
BIDV listed the buying rate at VND22,610 per USD, and the selling rate at VND22,680 per USD, down VND15 .
Meanwhile, Vietinbank set the buying rate at VND22,600 per USD, and the selling rate at VND22,680 per USD, down VND40 and VND30, respectively, from the day ago.
