Eximbank allocates VND8 trillion for corporate loans

The Viet Nam Export And Import Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Eximbank) has increased its lending to firms in the international trading and SME (small and medium sized firms) sectors.

It has also decided to allocate VND8 trillion (more than US$484 million) at special interest rates for corporate lending.

The bank is issuing its international credit card “Visa Business” for businessmen with a maximum limit of VND1.5 billion (US$ 90,000), and for employees up to VND300 million (US$ 18,000).

Eximbank’s earnings of VND1.1 trillion (more than US$66 million) in the first nine months marks a 127 percent increase over the same period last year. The total capital of Eximbank currently has reached VND52 trillion (more than US$3 billion).
