Agro-aqua-forestry export turnover reached US$2.64 billion in July, taking it to $17.8 billion in the first seven months this year, a year on year increase of 5.1 percent.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on Friday, the export value of agricultural products was estimated to hit $8.56 billion, up 4.2 percent over a year earlier.
Aquatic and forestry exports yielded $3.65 billion and $3.98 billion, up 3.3 percent and 0.8 percent respectively.
Agro-aqua-forestry import turnover was $2.09 billion in July, increasing the seven month number to $13.31 billion, down 0.5 percent over a year before. The import turnover of some major import items reduced up to 6.6 percent.
