The move aims to reduce the number of inspection agencies in this field to two including Animal Health Department and Plant Protection Department.
The Plant Protection Department will conduct quarantine and quality inspection over import animal feed and fish feed of plant origin preclearance. The Animal Health Department will do that with products of animal origin.
With the license cut, businesses will register and declare one time at either of the agencies.
